About US

Founded in 1980 by Tibor Boros Sr. and his wife Ilona, T&I Campground is a family-owned and operated destination located in Summerstown, Ontario. It is bordered by Cooper Marsh to the East and Charlottenburgh Provincial Park, one parcel over to the West.

Tibor Sr. purchased 74 acres along the St. Lawrence River in 1973, and along with his two sons, Tibor Jr. and Tom, began building six camping lots in 1980, marking the humble beginnings of T&I Campground.

Choosing a name that honored their family legacy, they decided on T&I Campground, incorporating the first letters of all their names. This simple yet heartfelt gesture embodied their commitment and personal connection to the campground.

Despite Tibor Sr.'s passing in 1984, his sons (20 and 19 yrs. of age respectively), carried on his vision. Today, T&I Campground is proud to offer 246 fully serviced lots. With a commitment to hospitality and preserving the natural beauty of the area, the Boros family welcomes guests to create lasting memories in a peaceful and picturesque setting.
